We’re proud to be the only small boat operator in the harbor currently offering a combination whale watching, fishing, and sightseeing tour. This full-day experience allows our guests to explore the best of Alaska’s marine life, glaciers, and coastal beauty. You'll fish for Alaskan species, view glaciers and wildlife, and may even spot humpback whales and orcas. It’s a guest favorite, especially among families and photographers.
Our custom vessel, the Steller Explorer, is 43 feet long and U.S. Coast Guard-certified and inspected annually for your safety and comfort.
We limit our Small Group Cruises to just 15 passengers, even though the vessel is rated for 30—ensuring a more intimate, personalized Alaska ocean experience.
Our multi-species fishing tour is a great trip for the person who wants to fish but doesn't want to travel half the day out to a place to anchor up to try to catch only halibut.
On our multi-species trip we target halibut, salmon, rockfish, ling cod, and black bass. There's nothing better than catching a silver salmon in the ocean when he is still strong and hungry. Salmon jump out of the water like a sport fish and fight like a tuna. There is nothing to compare to fishing for silvers when "the bite" is on and the whole boat may well have fish on at once.
